Desiree is an ambassador for Alex's Lemonade Stand where she frequently is involved in raising funds to contribute towards curing childhood cancer. The team, as well as her family, are all very involved. Desiree also frequently speaks for various organizations and events, sharing her story of her son, Mik'hail, who was diagnosed with cancer at 10 months old. He is now healthy and in remission.
