Rachel Thorngate is a Financial Advisor and partner of 323 Financial Group, where she specializes in comprehensive financial planning across the country. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in her degrees in Finance, Management and Marketing from Colorado Christian University, Rachel began running her financial planning practice in January 2009. Together, Desiree and Rachel lead a team of 5 and hold the most elite awards of the company they partner with- Northwestern Mutual. She has also been a qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table every year since 2013. Rachel is known for her passion and ability to her team and clients. She is married to Brian, a retired Firefighter, and together they have three beautiful children- Abby, Noah and Emerson.

Rachel is an incredible dinner party hostess, and is always looking for ways to give back to the community when she is not attending her kids many sporting events. Rachel has learned to master the art of balance between running a successful business and not sacrificing time with her family. Rachel believes her calling is to serve her clients to the best of her ability, while also setting an example for what is possible for other aspiring entrepreneurs, all while being authentic and often times facing adversity. Rachel’s Favorite quote is “Hard work consistently beats talent, unless talent consistently works hard.” Work ethic was bred into Rachel at a very young age, and it is a pleasure for her to serve her team and clients with a high degree of expectation in this manner.

Desiree Ortiz, CLU®, ChFc®, began her career as a financial advisor in 2010 and runs the practice with business partner and best friend, Rachel Thorngate. She lives in Parker, Colorado with her husband Ezra, who serves as a Lieutenant for the Denver Fire Department, their three sons and three dogs. She holds degrees from Metropolitan State College in Business Management and Spanish. Her greatest passions include involvement in her church community, music, traveling, pouring into her friendships and relationships, cooking and consistently furthering her education within the financial planning industry in order to best serve her clients and team.

Desiree has achieved the highest recognized awards within Northwestern Mutual, where she is registered, and has been a qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table since 2014. She is an Alex's Lemonade Stand Ambassador where she is an advocate for childhood cancer research on behalf of her son, Mik'hail, who is in remission from stage four Neuroblastoma. She strives to live each day with the mission to love and serve others personally and professionally and takes great pride in the work her and her team do every day.

Alexander is a native of Colorado. He spent 8 years growing up in Thailand where he graduated high school, as his parents were missionaries there. He is a USMC veteran and studied Finance and Business Analytics at the University of Denver. A few of his hobbies include, reading and spending time out in the mountains doing various activities. Alex is in charge of all investment operations for the practice.
